Terms and conditions

By booking a cruise with Amazon River Boat, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Booking Confirmation Payment

Your booking is confirmed once we receive the 50% confirmation payment. A confirmation email with your reservation details will be sent to you.
The remaining 50% can be paid using the same method as the confirmation payment, or upon boarding via PIX or cash.

Note: If your booking is made on short notice, you may be asked to pay the full amount instead of the 50% deposit.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival – 90% refund
  • Cancellation 30 to 5 days before arrival – 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 5 days before arrival – No refund


Note:
We do not refund Stripe, PayPal, or international transfer fees.

We recommend checking your travel insurance for cancellation coverage.

Changes to Reservations

Any changes must be requested at least 14 days before your check-in date.
Changes are subject to availability and may involve additional costs.
Changing dates is normally free of charge.

Liability

Amazon River Boat is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury to persons or property during your cruise. We strongly recommend all guests obtain appropriate travel insurance.

Code of Conduct

Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff and fellow travelers. Inappropriate behavior may result in immediate removal from the cruise without a refund.

Environmental Responsibility

We are committed to low-impact, responsible tourism in the Amazon. Guests are asked to follow onboard and environmental guidelines to help preserve the rainforest and river.

Protection of Personal Information

We take privacy seriously. Your personal data is used only for essential services such as booking, logistics, and customer support. It is stored securely and never shared without your consent, except where required by law.

Health and Safety

Please inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions before arrival.
Amazon River Boat reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who may pose a health risk to themselves or others.
